About us.

Pacific Palms lies south of Forster/Tuncurry, and forms part of the Great Lakes Shire.

This is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Many artists and photographers have chosen to live here. It is also a haven for retirees, only three hours drive north of Sydney.

The area consists of a number of small villages on the shores of three lakes, namely Wallis Lake, Smiths Lake and Myall Lake.

The area has many fine beaches, including Elizabeth Beach, Boomerang Beach and Blueys Beach, among the better known.

Residents of Blueys Beach, Boomerang Beach, Bungwahl, Coomba Park, Elizabeth Beach, Green Point, Smiths Lake, Tarbuck Bay and Whoota have welcomed the establishment of the Pacific Palms Probus Club.

Each month, our friendly and welcoming Probus Club (with over 90 members) brings together the residents of these small villages for a stimulating morning, with a 10-minute speaker from the Club, and a sociable morning tea followed by a talk by a guest speaker.

In addition, the Committee plans a variety of interesting activities for members to enjoy during the course of the year.

We meet at Moby's Conference Centre, 23 Red Gum Road, Boomerang Beach on the second Tuesday of each month.
